The court upheld the legality of the mayor's intervention to demolish illegal constructions and restore public access. Mayor Dominic Fritz expressed satisfaction over reclaiming the land for the community, despite facing intimidation from the occupying family. The area, previously blocked, has now been transformed into a pedestrian and cycling link with green spaces, benefiting the residents of Timișoara.
