The Local Council of Sector 1 is set to vote on two projects aimed at overhauling the rules for food markets, including a modernization strategy and updated tariffs. The strategy focuses on reconfiguring market spaces, building new halls, and improving conditions for buyers and producers, with priority given to specific markets. Additionally, the plan includes a new collection and distribution center for local products and the expansion of mobile markets. Tariff updates will offer discounts for certified producers and introduce fees for unclean stalls. If approved, these initiatives will enhance the market experience in Sector 1.
