Primăria orașului Limoges din Franța, o clădire istorică din 1883, a fost distrusă în urma unui incendiu declanșat de protestatari
The Hôtel de Ville in Limoges was largely destroyed by a fire set by protesters during national unrest over living costs. The historic building, which is 143 years old, suffered massive damage, with its roof collapsing and two-thirds of its covering gone. Local officials condemned the incident as a deliberate act of vandalism. Witnesses reported masked protesters setting fire to a police car and breaking windows before igniting the fire inside the building. The French government has blamed far-left movements for escalating protests into violence. Firefighters arrived too late to contain the blaze, which was witnessed by hundreds. The building, designed in neo-Renaissance style, was inaugurated in 1883 and is located in a square named after former President Jacques Chirac.
