Primăria Oradea își apără copacii de castori / Plasă de sârmă și soluție repelentă / 500 de copaci vor fi apărați

The recent contract with Greeneric aims to protect vulnerable tree species along Oradea's waterways from beavers. The municipality will pay 37,080 lei for the treatment of 500 tree trunks with a repellent solution and fencing them with galvanized wire mesh. Similar measures were successfully implemented last year for 200 trees along the Criș River. Beavers became noticeable in Oradea during the winter of 2024-2025, damaging numerous trees along the Crișul Repede river.
