Primăria Oradea interzice din nou marșul Pride, în ciuda apelurilor europene! „Toate cele 115 trasee sunt indisponibile”

The Oradea City Hall has once again denied the Oradea Pride march, citing overlapping events and construction work as reasons. This decision follows international appeals for the event to be allowed to proceed safely. The city’s spokesperson confirmed that all proposed routes intersect with other approved events or are affected by significant municipal works. Concerns have been raised by the Council of Europe regarding the potential obstruction of the march, and local organizers expressed their worries after a meeting with the public assembly approval commission. The refusal mirrors last year's scenario when all proposed routes were rejected for similar reasons, leading to public backlash against the LGBT+ community.
