The Oradea City Hall plans to alleviate traffic congestion at the Teodor Neș Bridge by replacing traffic lights with a roundabout. A temporary island has been set up in the intersection to guide vehicles. Since the closure of Republicii Street, drivers have been rerouted due to ongoing construction at the train station and Crișul shopping center. This has led to increased traffic on nearby roads, especially during peak hours. The situation is expected to worsen with the start of the new school year.
