The Oradea City Hall is developing a 400-meter bike lane on Dacia Boulevard, enhancing the area as part of broader modernization efforts. The lane will be located on the sidewalk near residential blocks and aims to improve cycling safety while addressing parking issues. Plans include relocating some parking spaces to the road or within block courtyards. Additionally, a small plaza will be created near the bus station by the Profi store. The city aims to connect this new bike lane to existing routes, facilitating better access to the Crișul Repede riverbank. Ongoing works also involve underground utility upgrades and road resurfacing, with hopes to complete them before the school year starts.
