Primăria Oradea a interzis din nou marșul Pride, programat sâmbătă. Organizatorii acuză „homofobie instituțională” și anunță că evenimentul va avea loc

The Oradea City Hall has once again banned the Pride march scheduled for July 25, prompting organizers to accuse the authorities of institutional homophobia. Despite the ban, the organizers from ARK Oradea announced that the event will proceed as planned. The city hall cited logistical issues and 'good morals' as reasons for the decision, which has faced criticism from both local and international organizations. Over 120 civil society groups from 30 countries have called for the respect of the right to peaceful assembly, highlighting a pattern of discrimination against the LGBTQIA+ community in Oradea. The situation has raised concerns about Romania's commitment to European values.
