The Iași City Hall plans to establish the first counseling center for domestic violence offenders, set to open on November 25. This center, located in Tudor Vladimirescu, will be developed in partnership with the 'Socola' Psychiatric Institute. It aims to provide psychological counseling, social assistance, support groups, and medical intervention. Offenders can be referred by courts or seek help voluntarily. The center will operate as a day facility, Monday to Friday, and will not limit the number of participants. Additionally, a residential center for offenders is planned by 2028, emphasizing the need for intervention with perpetrators alongside support for victims.
