Primăria Iași, proiect pentru stocarea energiei produse de panourile fotovoltaice de la CET II Holboca / Valoarea proiectului se ridică la peste 37 de milioane de lei

The Iași Local Council has approved a project for energy storage from photovoltaic panels at CET II Holboca, aiming for European funding. The total project cost is approximately 37.1 million lei, with eligible expenses covered by a non-repayable grant. The photovoltaic plant will cover 75,000 square meters and produce an average of 9,849.99 MWh/year, enough for nearly 25,000 apartments. The project includes a battery energy storage system (BESS) with a capacity of 35.105 MWh, primarily powered by the photovoltaic plant. This initiative is expected to significantly reduce CO₂ emissions by avoiding conventional energy production during peak times.
