Primăria Hunedoara aprobă 10,3 milioane de euro pentru cofinanțarea noului stadion Corvinul

The Hunedoara Local Council has approved co-financing for the construction of the new 'Corvinul 1921' stadium, covering 25% of the costs. The total project is estimated at around 54 million euros, with the municipality contributing over 10 million euros. Demolition of the existing stadium is set to begin this fall, with construction of the new arena starting in January 2027. The new stadium will have a capacity of over 10,000 seats and will host various sports and cultural events.
