Primăria din Galați susţine că lucrările de modernizare a Falezei Dunării nu sunt în pericol de a fi oprite

The modernization of the Danube Promenade in Galați, funded by over 226 million lei from European funds, is ongoing despite a 100,000 lei fine imposed on the contractor for site organization issues. The municipality confirmed that the project is authorized and will not be halted. The fine relates to deficiencies in site management and material storage, with no issues found regarding trees on the promenade. The project aims to enhance the area with additional trees, modern recreational spaces, and improved infrastructure. The work began in July and covers over 3.5 kilometers, including bike paths and public monuments.
