Primăria Capitalei vrea să deschidă publicului zona Clubului Diplomaților din Parcul Herăstrău • Newsweek România

The Bucharest City Hall is working to open a four-hectare area of Herăstrău Park, currently managed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to the public. Mayor Ciprian Ciucu emphasized the need to reintegrate this degraded area into public use, stating that the park belongs to the citizens, not the privileged. Discussions with the government are ongoing to facilitate the transfer of the land, which has been sought since 2017. Additionally, a comprehensive management and investment plan for the park is in development, focusing on restoring its historical areas and enhancing its landscape. The entire modernization project is expected to take about four years.
