Primăria Capitalei vine cu explicații după abrogarea programului „Voucher Materna”: Primăria are obligația de a-și echilibra finanțele

Bucharest's City Hall canceled the 'Voucher Materna' program, citing budgetary responsibility and existing healthcare coverage for pregnant women. The funds saved will be redirected to modernizing hospitals and maternity wards. The program, which provided financial support to expectant mothers, was deemed redundant as prenatal services are already covered by national health insurance. The cancellation is expected to save up to 100 million lei over four years, allowing the city to prioritize urgent healthcare investments.
