The Bucharest City Hall has initiated a tender for replacing the LED screens of the video cube at the National Arena, with an estimated contract value of 6,673,350 lei. The winning company will be responsible for delivering, installing, and operating the new screens along with the management platform. This decision follows technical issues identified during maintenance inspections, revealing serious malfunctions. The LED system is over 11 years old, necessitating a complete replacement to maintain modern sports infrastructure. The upgrade aims to enhance spectator experience, reduce long-term costs, and ensure the arena's competitiveness for high-level events. The contract duration is 120 days, with a deadline for bids set for November 23.
