Primăria Capitalei a tăiat voucherele pentru gravide și a micșorat stimulentul financiar pentru nou-născuţi

Bucharest's General Council has significantly cut municipal spending by abolishing the Materna Voucher program and reducing financial incentives for newborns. The financial support for pregnant women has been eliminated, while the newborn incentive has been decreased from 2,500 to 2,000 lei. These changes were made due to budget constraints and the availability of free prenatal services through the national health insurance system. The decision aims to address the financial sustainability crisis faced by local incentive programs, which have accumulated significant delays in payments.
