Primăria București anunță revenirea fotbalului pe Arena Națională. Gazonul este înlocuit

Football will return to the National Arena on September 14 after a five-month break, during which the stadium hosted various concerts and events. The playing surface has been replaced with a hybrid grass of approximately 8,500 square meters. The first match will be FCSB vs. Petrolul in the Superliga. The stadium has not hosted a football match since April 26, raising discussions about its management and the balance between sports and non-sporting events. The grass is replaced annually at a cost of 2 million lei, covered by event organizers, while maintaining the stadium costs 30 million lei yearly from the local budget.
