Brașov will establish three new bicycle garages in response to public requests, with a total investment of 822,028.35 lei. The contract negotiation is ongoing with a Cluj-based company. Currently, only one location is confirmed, while others are being evaluated based on community needs and technical feasibility. The garages will feature secure access, solar panels, and video surveillance, accommodating up to 50 bicycles each. The first bicycle garages were introduced in spring 2023, but their use was delayed until rental procedures were clarified.
