Primăria Bacău a pus la intrarea în Iaşi panouri prin care îşi promovează pistele de bicicletă. Edilul: „Am făcut-o intenţionat? Da!”

The Bacău City Hall has installed panels at the entrance of Iași promoting its bike lanes, stating "There are no bike lanes in Iași. Come to Bacău. We have 44 kilometers." Mayor Lucian Daniel Stanciu Viziteu confirmed that the costs were not from public funds. He emphasized the city's commitment to being family-friendly, highlighting the completion of 23 kilometers of bike lanes and 21 kilometers under construction. The usage of these lanes has increased fivefold since December 2022, and bike sales have risen by nearly 40% over the past two years. The mayor aims to encourage more families to choose Bacău as their home, promoting cycling as a safe alternative to cars.
