Primăria Alba Iulia a semnat memorandum de cooperare cu o municipalitate din Turcia pentru infrastructură verde

Alba Iulia has signed a cooperation memorandum with a Turkish municipality to enhance green infrastructure and climate adaptation efforts. The agreement aims to protect public health during heatwaves and promote nature-based solutions. Mayor Gabriel Pleșa highlighted the importance of this collaboration under the European CLIMACARE project, funded by Horizon Europe. The memorandum establishes a long-term partnership focused on climate resilience and the exchange of best practices. The city also intends to foster a sister city relationship with Sultanbeyli, adhering to legal procedures in both countries.
