Prima vizită a unui președinte indian în România după 30 de ani. Nicușor Dan: marchează „un nou început” în relațiile dintre cele două țări
President Nicușor Dan highlighted the historic significance of Indian President Droupadi Murmu's visit to Romania, the first by an Indian head of state in 30 years. He emphasized the potential for enhancing economic relations and discussed mutual investments, including a direct air link. Several cooperation agreements were signed, including in science and technology, and academic partnerships between universities. The leaders also addressed foreign policy issues, expressing condolences for Indian sailors lost in a recent attack and advocating for diplomatic solutions to conflicts in the Middle East and Ukraine.
