Ramona Miletic, a Romanian from Pitești, has been the vice mayor of Vienna's Simmering district since 2020, marking a significant achievement for the Romanian community. The Romanian Embassy in Austria highlights her role in bridging the Romanian community with Austrian society. Miletic, born in 1982, moved to Vienna in 2009 and has actively participated in various projects supporting Romanian initiatives. She received the Excellence Award for local leadership in 2025, recognizing her contributions to the integration of the Romanian community in Austria.
