Romania's first tram-train network moves forward as Stadler Polska submits the only bid for 14 electric vehicles. The estimated contract value exceeds 461 million lei. The vehicles will operate on both tram and train tracks, featuring bi-directional capabilities and dual doors. The project, funded by European grants, includes infrastructure upgrades and aims to enhance connectivity in Oradea. The total network will span 33.4 kilometers with 27 stations planned.
