Prima reacție a ministrului Educației la dezastrul de la testele PISA a venit după trei zile: "Sunt slabe"
Romania's performance in the 2025 PISA tests is concerning, with 52% of students scoring below the functional literacy threshold in mathematics. Education Minister Mihai Dimian emphasized the need for transparency regarding these results, highlighting that the current educational system is failing to equip nearly half of the students with essential knowledge and skills. He noted a decline in scores not only in Romania but also among OECD countries, with Romania maintaining a low position in the EU rankings. The minister plans to outline measures for improving student performance in the future.
