Seventy Ukrainian firefighters and 15 vehicles have arrived in France to assist in combating a significant wildfire near Saumos. The team views this mission as a gesture of solidarity with France. This marks Ukraine's first participation in a European Union civil protection operation. The firefighters were welcomed warmly and are expected to tackle some of the most challenging areas of the operation. The wildfire has devastated around 42,000 hectares, prompting international assistance.
