The National Bank of Romania is issuing a silver coin to commemorate 140 years since the birth of painter Nicolae Tonitza. This coin, shaped like a painting, features the artwork 'Yellow Flowers' and is the first rectangular coin issued by the bank. It weighs 31.103 grams, has a nominal value of 10 lei, and is limited to 500 pieces. The coin comes with a presentation brochure and authenticity certificate, priced at 1,150 lei including VAT. It is available through regional branches of the bank.
