This sale occurred during a charity auction at Monterey Car Week, surpassing the previous record of $26 million for a customized Daytona SP3. The Luce, unveiled in May, boasts impressive specifications, including a top speed over 310 km/h and a range exceeding 530 km. Despite initial criticism and a drop in stock prices, Ferrari's CEO noted strong demand for the model from both existing and new customers. The company has also raised its profit forecasts due to increased interest in limited edition models.
