The first auction in Romania for breeding bulls of Limousine and Charolaise breeds will take place on September 26 in Saschiz, Mureș County. Nineteen bulls will be sold, with starting prices between €4,000 and €4,500. The selection process focused on superior genetic lines and performance in meat production. The event aims to enhance genetic improvement and will coincide with an annual meeting of breeders. Demand for quality breeding bulls is increasing among both large commercial farms and family farms. Romania's total cattle population is approximately 1.9 million, with a growing emphasis on meat production.
