Prima generație de liceeni cu programă nouă, după decenii de așteptare. Ce se schimbă în anul şcolar 2026-2027
Starting in the 2026-2027 school year, the first generation of high school students will learn under a new curriculum after two decades. Only ninth graders will adopt the new programs initially, with subsequent grades transitioning in the following years. The curriculum emphasizes skill development over rote memorization, allowing teachers more flexibility in lesson planning. Key subjects like Romanian, Mathematics, and Computer Science will see significant changes, including new teaching methods and activities. Additionally, a new mandatory subject, 'Personal Development and Career Counseling,' will be introduced for ninth graders, focusing on self-awareness and career guidance. The reform will see two curricula operating simultaneously during the transition period, with the first cohort expected to take the new Bacalaureat exam in 2030.
