The Ministry of Investments and European Projects has completed the payment of the teaching career bonus for the 2025-2026 school year. Over 183,000 educators received 1,500 lei net, with at least 975 lei required for professional training courses. This initiative benefits 183,423 employees in the public pre-university education sector, totaling 275,134,500 lei. Funded by the Education and Employment Program 2021-2027, the bonus aims to support professional development. The funds can be used for accredited training courses, specialized books, and other teaching-related expenses. Unused amounts can be carried over for the next school year, but will be withdrawn if the recipient leaves the education system.
