Prima bere cu indicație de origine protejată din România. O berărie artizanală din județul Sibiu, pe picior de egalitate cu celebrele berării din Germania - Economica.net

A Romanian entrepreneur revived a historic brewery in Sadu, Sibiu, which has now received the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) label from the European Commission. This makes it the first Romanian beer to achieve PGI status, placing it alongside renowned breweries in Germany and Austria. "Bere Sadu" is an unpasteurized, unfiltered lager made from malt, hops, and yeast, with a unique soft water sourced from a mountain spring. The brewery, established in 1913, was closed in 2017 but reopened in 2019, now producing around 7,000 liters using modern equipment.
