Prezentator TV, devenit rege peste noapte. Un jurnalist a fost ales noul monarh al unui regat din Uganda

A news presenter has been unexpectedly named the future king of the Tooro Kingdom in Uganda following the death of King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV. Edward Rukidi Kijanangoma, a cousin of the late king and a news editor at Uganda Broadcasting Corporation, was selected by a committee and is set to be crowned this week. The late king, who died at 34, was unmarried and left behind a controversial heir born out of wedlock. Kijanangoma's selection has faced immediate backlash from the late king's family, particularly from his sister, who claims the late king's will clearly stated his heir. The Tooro Kingdom is one of five traditional kingdoms recognized by the Ugandan government, lacking official sovereignty.
