The National Administration of Penitentiaries and the National Agency for Drug Policies signed a collaboration protocol to address drug-related issues in prisons. This partnership aims to develop joint activities, programs, and research over the next five years. Training sessions will also be organized to enhance institutional expertise in managing addictions within the penitentiary system. The agreement was formalized during a meeting attended by key officials from both agencies. The goal is to create integrated responses to drug use challenges in prisons, benefiting inmates and the community.
