Prețurile mondiale la alimente au urcat la cel mai ridicat nivel din ultimii trei ani

Global food prices have reached their highest level in over three years, driven by extreme weather and geopolitical conflicts, according to FAO. The Food Price Index rose to 131.1 points in July, influenced by a 3.4% increase in cereal prices and a 5.6% rise in sugar prices. While vegetable oil prices also increased, meat and dairy prices saw a decline. FAO warns of a looming food price inflation due to ongoing conflicts and climate phenomena, predicting further price hikes by the end of the year.
