Prețurile la carburanți, plafonate din nou în Franța
TotalEnergies has reintroduced price caps on fuel in France due to rising oil prices and renewed Middle East conflicts. The company limits gasoline to €1.99 and diesel to €2.25 per liter across all stations. This decision follows a previous reduction in price cap coverage, which was only applied in rural areas. The CEO had committed to maintaining the cap as long as the conflict persists. Additionally, during busy summer weekends, prices on highways will also be capped at €1.99 per liter. The return of military confrontations and disruptions in oil transport routes have prompted this action to protect consumers from rapid price increases.
