Industrial production prices rose significantly in September, driven mainly by energy costs. The energy sector saw a notable increase of 6.6% monthly and 25% annually. Oil and gas extraction surged by 14.3% from August and 34.5% year-on-year. Other industrial sectors experienced modest price changes, with intermediate goods rising by 11.9% over the past year. Consumer goods saw a more moderate increase of 5.75% annually, indicating that the impact on daily expenses may be limited for now. However, persistent energy price hikes could eventually affect other sectors' costs.
