Prețurile globale ale alimentelor, la cel mai ridicat nivel din ultimii trei ani, pe fondul războaielor din Ucraina și Iran

Global food prices have reached a three-and-a-half-year high due to heatwaves and conflicts affecting supply chains. The FAO index rose significantly, driven by increased costs of grains, sugar, and vegetable oils. Ongoing issues in Ukraine and Iran have further exacerbated the situation, impacting exports and prices. While meat prices saw a decline, the overall trend indicates rising costs for consumers, particularly affecting those facing food insecurity.
