Fuel prices in Romania remain high, with diesel nearing 11 lei per liter. The cheapest gasoline is found in Lungulețu at 9.87 lei, while diesel costs 10.75 lei in Eforie Nord. Major cities show gasoline prices around 10.05 lei, and diesel prices range from 10.88 to 10.91 lei. LPG prices are also reported, with Timișoara and Iași at 4.71 lei. The reduced excise tax on standard diesel remains in effect until mid-October 2026, with ongoing monitoring by the Ministry of Finance.
