Fuel prices in Romania remain high, with gasoline exceeding 10 lei per liter. The cheapest gasoline is found at TEAutohof in Orțișoara at 10.05 lei per liter. In major cities like Bucharest, Iasi, and Constanta, the minimum price is 10.11 lei. Diesel prices are also elevated, with the lowest at 10.86 lei in Bucharest, Iasi, and Constanta. The government maintains a 25% reduction in diesel excise tax until mid-October 2026. Compared to last month, gasoline prices have increased by 2.8%, while diesel has risen by 5.5%. The Secretary of State in the Ministry of Energy noted that prices are affected by oil quotations and transportation costs.
