Prețurile berii la Oktoberfest cresc, depășind inflația

The price of a liter of beer at Oktoberfest has significantly increased since 1985, surpassing general inflation rates in Germany. This year, a Maß will cost an average of 15.61 euros, reflecting a 400% rise since 1985. However, the increase of 2.4% from last year is the lowest in two decades, remaining below the national inflation rate of nearly 3%. Factors influencing beer prices include agricultural yields, energy costs, and visitor spending habits. Oktoberfest, originating in 1810, is set to welcome 6 to 7 million visitors this year, with the festival opening marked by the mayor tapping the first keg.
