This increase follows the conflict in the Middle East, with potential further hikes anticipated due to possible U.S. export restrictions. Current diesel prices range from 10.91 to 10.99 lei per liter, significantly higher than the pre-conflict average of 8.27 lei. A full tank now costs between 545.50 and 549.50 lei, compared to 413.50 lei previously. Experts suggest that if U.S. exports are restricted, prices could rise by 0.51 to 1.20 lei per liter, potentially reaching 12.15 lei. The situation remains fluid, influenced by international market conditions and U.S. policy decisions.
