Prețul gazelor în Europa depășește 1.000$ | Record din 2022

For the first time since December 2022, European gas prices exceeded $1,000 per 1,000 cubic meters due to geopolitical tensions. The October futures price at the TTF hub reached $1,004, with spot prices also surpassing this threshold. The escalation of the Middle East conflict and stalled negotiations between Russia and Ukraine are key factors driving these increases. European gas storage levels are lower than last year, raising concerns for winter supply. Romania, connected to the European gas market, is expected to face significant price hikes affecting households and industries. Analysts predict higher demand for LNG in both Europe and Asia due to colder winter forecasts.
