Prețul diamantelor se află în cădere liberă. Cererea slabă și explozia diamantelor de laborator din China „sufocă” piața
Natural diamond prices have significantly dropped due to weaker demand, high inventories, and increased competition from lab-grown diamonds, particularly from China. The market has seen a notable decline in prices for round diamonds, especially in the 1.00-1.19 carat range. Factors contributing to this trend include reduced demand post-COVID, accumulated stock, and the rise of synthetic diamonds. China dominates the lab-grown diamond market, producing over 60% globally, and has seen a 65.3% increase in synthetic diamond exports in early 2026. The price of rough synthetic diamonds has plummeted from $100 per carat in 2022 to $15 in 2024, exacerbating pressure on natural diamond demand, which remains low even in China. De Beers has reduced its production by 12% in 2025 to adjust to the market's low levels.
