Președintele Zelenski a cerut ţărilor vecine - inclusiv României - să permită tranzitul transporturilor de cereale prin teritoriul lor
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has requested neighboring countries to allow the transit of Ukrainian grain due to blockages in the Black Sea. Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar agreed to this request, stating that Hungary would not object to the transit as long as the grain is only passing through. Ukraine is a major global producer of grains, with 90% of its exports typically passing through the Black Sea, which has been heavily impacted by Russian attacks. Magyar expressed solidarity with Ukraine against Russian aggression and noted that the transit solution was proposed shortly after the Russian invasion began in February 2022. He also highlighted the challenges faced by farmers in the EU due to adverse weather conditions affecting crop yields.
