Președintele Senatului: Proiectul ANI, redepus fără amendamentele PSD privind sancționarea retroactivă și declararea cash-ului

The Senate President announced the re-submission of the ANI project without contested PSD amendments after its rejection. The amendments concerned retroactive sanctions and cash declaration by officials. Despite receiving 55 votes, the bill needed 65 to pass. The rejection was attributed to the risk of unconstitutionality posed by the amendments. The project will be reintroduced in its original form, aiming for approval by the end of the month. Other significant projects were also adopted during the session, including urban planning and energy decarbonization laws, as well as a defense funding agreement.
