The Romanian Senate, led by Mircea Abrudean, has passed several legislative measures aimed at fulfilling commitments under the PNRR. Key measures include solutions for the ANCPI situation to protect individuals from administrative blockages and a law to limit commercial markups and gradually reduce diesel excise taxes in response to rising fuel prices. Additionally, the Senate approved projects related to fiscal and customs administration performance and amendments to the Administrative Code, which are part of the PNRR legislative package expected to save over 3 billion euros.
