Romania has achieved a strategic result in NATO after over five years of negotiations, with the approval of an Eastern expansion of the NATO pipeline network. This project is crucial for enhancing military security and mobility on the Eastern Flank, influenced by lessons learned from Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The North Atlantic Council has approved funding of approximately 2.15 billion euros for Romania from a total of 27 billion euros allocated for the next 20 years.
