Președintele Parlamentului de la Chișinău acuză o sfidare a Rusiei în Transnistria
Igor Grosu, the President of the Moldovan Parliament, criticizes Russia's plan to open 16 polling stations in Transnistria for State Duma elections without Moldova's consent. He views this as a challenge to Moldova's sovereignty. The Moldovan authorities were not consulted about these voting stations. Currently, only one Russian polling station is recognized in Moldova, located at the Russian Embassy. In response, Moldova's Foreign Ministry summoned the Russian ambassador to deliver a protest note. Moldova acknowledges the right of foreign citizens to vote but insists this must respect its sovereignty and territorial integrity. The elections are scheduled for September 18-20.
