President Nicușor Dan announced he will sign the decree for Siegfried Mureșan's appointment as Prime Minister in Bistrița. Despite the lack of a parliamentary majority, Dan expressed hope for Mureșan's success. The nomination surprised the PNL party, which expected Alexandru Nazare to be chosen. Dan is currently in Ukraine for a summit and will attend events in Bistrița on September 19.
