Preşedintele Greciei reia cererile privind acordarea de reparaţii de război din partea Germaniei, la 83 de ani de la masacrul de la Lingiades

Greek President Constantine Tassoulas reiterated demands for war reparations from Germany during a commemoration of the 83rd anniversary of the Lingiades massacre. He emphasized that Greece's claims remain legitimate and actionable. The massacre, which occurred on October 3, 1943, resulted in the deaths of 86 villagers, including 41 children, by German occupying forces. Tassoulas highlighted the importance of remembering these atrocities and maintaining the pursuit of reparations, which Greece estimates to be between €278 billion and €341 billion. Germany, however, rejects these claims, asserting that the issue has been legally resolved.
